Baseball and softball gloves are specially designed to suit the needs of a given field position, with each style of glove boasting unique features to improve a player’s performance at his or her position. Gloves are designed to perform a relatively simple task–catch a ball. The quality of materials and craftsmanship that can go into a building a glove, however, can be surprising.

We found this wonderful left-handed t-ball mitt for our 4 yr. old grandson and he is in heaven. He is taking this game quite seriously as he remains in a squat position ready for any action for the entire game. The mitt is great quality and seems to be as serious about t-ball as he is.

I needed a T-ball glove for a left hand throwing child. You CANNOT find these ANYWHERE in a store. I guess every sporting goods store or department thinks all kids throw with their right hand? This glove is great and fits good on a 5 yr old. I really liked that it already folds over on creases from the factory. I can always remember as a kid having to break in gloves with oil and heavy weights on them. This opens and closes real easy. Great deal for the price!

I bought this glove for my 5 year old nephew. Based on other websites I read, the size should have been appropriate for his age. However, when I received the glove, there was a tag on it that said “Ages 3-5″. So while the glove will work for my nephew for now, it may not last more than 1 year based on the size. So, FYI – it’s for ages 3-5 and the one I purchased was for a right-hand thrower, which I needed but couldn’t clearly determine from the product listing at the time of purchase. The quality of the glove seems to be excellent.
